Top Navigation and Maps Apps in the Middle East Q3 2025 Performance

In the third quarter of 2025, the navigation and maps app category in the Middle East showcased varied performance across leading applications. Data from Sensor Tower highlights key trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 58K in early September. Active users showed a slight fluctuation, starting at approximately 4.4M at the beginning of the quarter and ending at about 4.6M.

Google Maps Go experienced a significant volume of downloads, reaching over 112K mid-August. Its weekly revenue saw modest increases, peaking at $27 in late August. The app's active user count remained robust, hovering around 28M throughout the quarter.

Google Earth displayed a steady rise in downloads towards the end of the quarter, culminating at 38K in late September. Active users showed some decline, from around 384K to 359K by the quarter's close.

Offline Maps, GPS, Speedometer saw downloads peak at 11K in mid-September. Active user numbers increased gradually, ending the quarter at approximately 20K.

Muslim Prayer - Qibla Compass experienced consistent download numbers, reaching a high of 15K in early September. Revenue peaked at $68 in early September, while active users showed a decline early in the quarter, recovering to about 120K by the end.
